Daphne Burn and her husband Philip would like to invite you to Little Gables B&B their delightful former Hunting Lodge (architect - Sir Guy Dawber) much extended and modernised to offer high quality and contemporary en suite accommodation in a special country setting.
Little Gables nestles between the ancient oak woods of Broad Street Common and open fields giving a panoramic view towards the Cathedral. Because of our setting we also enjoy abundant wild life with almost daily sightings of deer, foxes and herons.
With free wi-fi and flat-screen television in every room, we feel we offer the best of the old and the new in a warm, friendly and tranquil atmosphere.
Breakfasts are freshly cooked and use local produce wherever possible. There is a warm and comfortable guest lounge, the perfect place to sit and relax in front of a fire with a pot of tea or coffee after a long day walking or a tiring day in the office.
As well as short stays Little Gables is ideal for extended periods:
